I did this linocut half as an experiment & half as a new demo for the Beginning Printmaking class. I focused more than ever before on the direction of the chatter marks, so I'm hoping it'll look great when printed. Click on the photo to see the cutting detail better.

Print for WLC Invitational Exhibition

First off... it's the first day of teaching a new semester at UWP.

Besides that, I've got an upcoming show at WLC this month, and I just handed in the print I'm showing to the gallery. It's a bigger plasticized woodcut, similar to the ones I posted about last week. Here's an unflattering in-progress drying shot while I was coating the print. Next is a detail of the print, which I think shows a little bit more of the transparent depth than the photos from last week.
